Dr. Jönsson's journey into dentistry began in his childhood in Salt Lake City, where he watched his father practice with a commitment to patient care that left a lasting impression. He completed his undergraduate studies in Medical Biology at the University of Utah before earning his dental degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2001, graduating with high honors and recognition in two dental honor societies.

Recognizing his passion for specialty care, he pursued advanced training in endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he earned his Master's degree in Oral Biology. His commitment to continuing education led him to complete a fellowship in implant dentistry at Loma Linda University, earning his certification in implant dentistry with over 12 years of clinical experience in that specialty. He also completed specialized training in IV sedation, expanding his expertise to serve patients with complex dental needs and anxiety concerns.

Dr. Tatosian has been a cornerstone of South Orange County endodontics since establishing his practice in Mission Viejo in 1992, making him one of the region's most experienced and trusted specialists. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, he earned his BS in Chemistry from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and completed his dental degree at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. His clinical foundation was strengthened through a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Kansas City and several years of combined clinical practice and faculty experience at Washington University in St. Louis.

He then pursued specialty training in endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, earning his Master's degree and board certification. His commitment to excellence extends to academia, where he serves as adjunct faculty at the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.

Dr. Chu earned his BS in Neurobiology at UC Berkeley before attending the UCLA School of Dentistry, where his excellence in endodontics was recognized with the Outstanding Performance in Endodontics Award. During his dental education, he demonstrated a strong commitment to community service by traveling to China to provide dental care to children in underserved communities. He completed his endodontic residency at the University of Washington, earning his Master of Science in Dentistry degree, and brings both surgical and non-surgical treatment expertise to the practice.

A native of Southern California, he was delighted to return to the region and reunite with family and friends while joining our team. Outside the office, Dr. Chu remains actively engaged in athletics and competitive activities, having competed nationally in junior tennis and continuing to enjoy pickleball, basketball, rock climbing, golf, board games, and competitive escape rooms.
